Travel Information

Flight

Flight tickets are not included in the price of your Engage experience.

We recommend you fly into O.R. Tambo, Johannesburg, South Africa and your connecting flights to Polokwane are available from here. Make sure to book your return trip so you have time for check-in and other things at the airport before your flight leaves. Transfer from the reserve takes about 4.5 hours.

PLEASE NOTE: It’s important that you let us know your travel itinerary before your departure. More information and support can be provided on request.

Transfer

We ask all volunteers to meet us for pick up in Polokwane, South Africa at 12pm (midday) on pick up day. If you miss the scheduled pick up, you’ll have to arrange and pay for transport from the airport to the reserve yourself. Return transport from the reserve to Polokwane will leave at 7am on your scheduled departure day.
